Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral. In its purest form, its typically a rose red colour, but it can also be shades of pink to a pale brown colour. Rhodochrosite occurs as a hydrothermal vein as well as other manganese minerals in low temperature ore deposits. First mined in a sliver mine in Romania and now found in Capillitas in Argentina. Known as the stone of compassionate heart. Symbolises selfless love. Enables those who need it to revisit old situations with new information and be healed . Frees blockages in the solar plexus.
